Celebrate the kick-off of PAX East at the Microsoft Store in Boston
Per Larry Hyrb’s blog, Larry himself will be kicking off PAX East 2015 with a pre-party this Thursday from 7-9 PM showing off the new Xbox One titles Ori and the Blind Forest and Screamride. There will be prizes along with the opportunity to play games and meet others in the Xbox One community. Most importantly, you get you meet Larry. How cool is this? And I can say from first hand experience that he’s a great guy and easy to talk with. You’ll enjoy meeting him.
“In anticipation of one of the biggest gaming events of the year, I will be at Microsoft at The Shops at Prudential Center on Thursday March 5 from 7-9 p.m. The Microsoft store and I will be hosting this free event with in-store gameplay and a sneak peek at games like Ori and the Blind Forest and ScreamRide along with the chance to win some great prizes. No PAX admission is necessary – this event is free and open to the public. In addition to hands-on game play, we’ll have some food and of course prizes including a pair of tickets to attend the sold out PAX East show.
The Facebook event page has complete details about the event as well. As a bonus for those of you who get there early (by 6 p.m.) The first 50 people in line at 6 PM will win a free digital copy of ScreamRide for Xbox One. Open only to event attendees who are legal residents of the 50 U.S. or D.C. and 13+ years of age. Winners must be present to win. Game ends 03/05/15. For Official Rules, see a sales associate.” Full Terms and Conditions are here.
