Four months ago at the virtual CES 2021, the folks at Thermaltake announced a slew of forthcoming gaming hardware products due for release in the first half of 2021. Fast forward to today and we see the release of two new CPU air coolers, the single-fan TOUGHAIR 310 and the dual-fan TOUGHAIR 510. Priced at $39.99 and $59.99 respectively, these two CPU coolers fit well within the range of budget-conscious computer builders who are looking for excellent air-cooling performance.
Thermaltake Debuts the TOUGHAIR 310 and TOUGHAIR 510 CPU Air Coolers
Per the press release, “TOUGHAIR CPU Air Coolers utilize next-gen high static pressure fans leveraging the advanced design concept from TOUGHFAN 12 as well as providing a new level of thermal performance and reliability to the vertical heatsink tower.”
The TOUGHAIR 310 and 510 incorporate high static pressure fans that provide ~ 58 CFM at 2,000 RPM. Fan speeds are also controllable from 500 RPM up to 2,000 RPM. In order to keep the air cooler as quiet as possible, each 120 mm fan is fitted with a second generation hydraulic bearing, LCP-made fan blades, and an anti-vibration mounting system.
CPU compatibility covers a wide range of AMD and Intel sockets.
