AKG Headphones have numerous models set for release in March – June 2017
It feels like last week when I was walking the huge halls and private suites at CES2017. And what a busy week it was. So much to see, never enough time to see it all. One of the highlights of the trip was having the good fortune of spending time with the folks at Harman and checking out their forthcoming products for Spring 2017. Their premier headphones brand, AKG, is set to introduce three new in-ear headphones in March 2017 (N25, N30, & N40) and two newly expanded headphone models beginning in April 2017 (N20 NC & N60 NC Wireless) to their current product line. What does AKG have in store for us during the first half of 2017? Let’s look further into the AKG Headphones 2017 model line-up and find out.
AKG set to Release Three Hi-Res Audio In-Ear Headphones in March 2017
If you haven’t listened to high-resolution audio yet, you don’t know what you’re missing.
Beginning in March, AKG is expanding their N-Series line-up of in-ear headphones with the introduction of the N20U, N20LT, N25, N30, and N40 models.
The N25, N30, and N40 in-ear headphones are all certified for Hi-Res Audio by the Japan Audio Society.
While not capable of playing high-resolution audio, the N20U and N20LT do have an expanded frequency range up to 24 kHz. The N20LT model, which is not yet available, has a Lightning connection for use with Apple iOS devices.
Per Michael Mauser, President, Lifestyle Audio Division at Harman, “The AKG N-SERIES embodies AKG’s legendary studio sound and refined design to complement today’s on-the-go connected lifestyle. We are pleased to offer consumers the same high-resolution audio that is heard in sound studios, straight from their own portable device as well as other impeccable design options at varying price points.”
